(Security) Software Engineer (C/C++)

For our ‘anti-tamper’ team, we are looking for a forward-thinking (Security) Software Engineer with a passion for reverse engineering and developing security software solutions using C or C++. Your task will be to develop new security concepts in cooperation with our customers. You will be involved in the following: performing security analysis, binary reverse engineering, designing and discussing new features such as virtual machines, obfuscation mechanisms and implementing them in the next iteration of our technology. We are exploring technologies including semantic analysis, binary instrumentation, compiler optimizations.


As a team we regularly and critically discuss and assess the impact of security features, follow the agile way of working, and value clean, quality code. Being a small, multinational team our communication internally as well as to our customers happens in English. Your contributions have a significant and direct impact on video games distributed worldwide.


What we are looking for:

  • You've obtained a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or have similar work experience with a track-record of visible successes / contributions within the security field.
  • You are comfortably able to program using C / C++ and can use it at a tool to get any job done.
  • Experience and a deep interest in reverse engineering (using assembler) or academic knowledge in compiler technologies, program analysis.
  • Knowledge of CPU architectures (x86, x64) and the Windows operating system kernel is appreciated but not mandatory.
  • You have some experience with team developments methods and workflows (i.e. git, jira).
  • You can clearly communicate and defend your ideas within the team and business.
  • You bring analytical thinking and are passionate about developing defensive security solutions.
  • You bring fluent English communication skills (written and verbal).
