As a Technical Project Manager in Irdeto’s Connected Transport division, you will manage and coordinate the delivery and implementation of major or complex proof of concept projects within cost, schedule and contract limitations while ensuring high customer satisfaction by working directly with our customers and prospects. You have recent experience in Software Development, ideally in embedded Linux, RTOS, Mobile or Cloud, and in cross-functional project management, particularly as it pertains to customer project management in automotive, construction and other connected transportation systems. In addition to working with Sales, Product Management, Architecture and Engineering, this is a technical role and involves assembling and re-flashing hardware; building operating systems; reproducing issues; collecting logs; debugging; sanity testing fixes and features; etc. 


At a minimum we’d like you to have:

  • University degree in engineering or related field, or equivalent practical experience
  • 4+ years experience in technical program/project management OR 6+ years experience as a software developer with direct customer-facing interaction in appropriate programming languages.
  • 1 - 2 years technical supervisory experience with people or projects. 
  • Skills in project planning and management, decision making, problem-solving. 
  • Knowledge of applicable programmatic/technical procedures and specifications; awareness of program contractual processes. 
  • Skills in effective leadership, innovation, analysis and communications. 
  • Experience with managing multiple concurrent projects with different time frames
  • Demostrated experience in managing projects in any connected transportation field (automotive, trucking, construction, etc...)


Experience that can set you apart:

  • Strong knowledge of generally accepted cybersecurity best practices in the automotive industry.
  • Understanding of the automotive network and systems design
  • Working and/or theoretical knowledge of one or more of the following: Linux Kernel Security Model, Android Security Model, Machine Learning, Cryptography, ISO26262, A-SPICE, CVE.
  • Good technical writing ability and good presentation skills.
