The Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Legal Operations Associate to join our team. As a Legal Operations Associate, you will be responsible for managing and executing tactical functions within the legal department. Under the guidance of the Head of Legal Operations and Programs you will ensure that legal processes and procedures are efficient and effective. Your focus will be on executing strategic initiatives, driving process improvements, and implementing best practices to enhance legal operations.
 
Your mission at Irdeto:

Your contributions to these objectives will involve tactical functions such as optimizing legal workflows, identifying areas for improvement, developing legal technology solutions, and providing operational support. You will also play a key role in maintaining relationships with stakeholders and keeping up with industry trends to ensure that Irdeto stays ahead of the curve in the legal field. As a Legal Associate, you will work closely with the Head of Legal Operations and Programs to achieve the following objectives:

• Enhancing the value of legal services provided to Irdeto by optimizing legal operations.
• Providing operational support for risk and compliance programs.
• Coordinate and strategize in conjunction with the DPO on the Data Privacy Compliance Program to optimize compliance requirements across jurisdictions.
• Developing and implementing legal technology solutions to streamline and automate legal processes.
• Ensuring that programs have the technology and tools needed to meet their requirements, including IP, Compliance, and more, and keeping up to date with technology changes in the legal field to improve efficiency.
• Collaborating with the legal team and other departments to identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains.
• Managing and maintaining legal databases, systems, and tools. 
• Supporting Irdeto's Regional Legal Heads with global corporate formalities.
• Assisting with the preparation of legal documents and correspondence.
• Staying current with industry trends and emerging legal technology tools.
• Maintaining inter-departmental relationships and finding ways to improve services to internal customers.

How can you add value to the team?

• Minimum Master’s degree in law preferably related to technology law.
• 6+ years of experience in legal operations, legal consulting, or similar role.
• Strong proficiency in the latest legal technology tools, including those powered by AI. Contract management lifecycle automation experience would be beneficial.
• Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels.
• Experience working in a collaborative environment and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
